Dr. Persyko is a registered clinical psychologist, who has worked with adults and adolescents for the past 25 years. She runs a private practice in Toronto. Dr. Persyko has also worked at the Toronto Western Hospital in the Neurology department conducting assessments on dementia patients as part of clinical trials. She has co-authored several journal articles and peer-reviewed papers on various topics including dementia, caregiver burden, and other neurological disorders. Sari Shaicovitch is a registered social worker and for the past 20 years has been specializing in anxiety, depression, infertility, reproductive loss, crisis intervention, and self-esteem.
Sari currently works with a number of Toronto-area fertility clinics where she consults with patients who are looking to use third-party gametes (sperm, egg or embryo donors, as well as surrogates). Over the course of her career, Sari has presented on numerous topics such as “How to Recognize the Signs of Post Partum Depression”, “How to Tell your Child they were Adopted”, and “The Do’s and Don’ts to Help Increase Your Child’s Self Esteem”. Sheri worked for 14 years in the Roots of Empathy program as an Empathy Specialist where she helped increase social/emotional competence among adults and children, increase empathy, and decrease bullying and poor parenting cycles. She earned her Bachelor of Education in the Primary/Junior Division from York University and has a specialized interest in parenting and children. Sheri has also completed the Life Coaching Certificate, Part 1, at the Adler Institute. Presently, Sheri is working in the Real Estate industry where she is utilizing her specialized educational background and skills to help her clients navigate the process of buying and selling. Often, real estate transactions are a very exciting and happy experience. However, they can also be an incredibly stressful undertaking due to divorce, aging parents and loss. Naomi Epstein is an Educational Coach and an Ontario certified educator with over 20 years teaching experience at the middle school and high school level, specializing in physical sciences, mathematics, and the integration of technology in instruction and learning. In private practice, Naomi works with individuals and families to help students integrate technology in their learning and improve content understanding and executive functioning skills. An experienced public speaker who has appeared on CBC Metro Morning and Ontario morning, Naomi believes that social media is an important tool, and she helps parents and educators support our children to use these tools responsibly.

Gabbi earned her degrees from Concordia and York University. Gabbi has been with Children’s Aid for 20 years. Throughout her career, Gabbi has had roles and responsibilities spanning various areas of Child Protection. Gabbi currently leads a team of frontline staff who work with families to keep children safe.
